Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and customer-focused Design Representative to join our Design Team. This role serves as a key liaison between our clients and the production team, helping homeowners and property managers design beautiful, durable exterior solutions. You will assist clients in selecting roofing, siding, and other exterior elements, guiding them through design decisions with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to assess design needs and preferences for roofing, siding, trim, and exterior features.

  • Create visual presentations using design software and material samples.

  • Provide expert guidance on color, texture, and material combinations aligned with structural requirements and aesthetic goals.

  • Collaborate with estimators, sales reps, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with scope.

  • Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and local building codes.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of client selections and design changes.

  • Attend team meetings, trainings, and occasional site visits.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in design, construction, or customer-facing roles.

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and an eye for detail.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Canva, Hover, or similar software).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with exterior building materials is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with occasional travel to project sites.

  • Occasional evening or weekend appointments to accommodate client schedules.
