Here is the letter we received from the manufacturer: ![Untitled design-3](https://marasun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Untitled%20design-3.png?width=940&height=788&name=Untitled%20design-3.png) πŸ’° **What does this mean for you?** Now is the best time to **lock in current pricing** before the increase takes effect! Schedule your **roof installation, repair, or maintenance by March 15th** to save. Over the past five years, roofing material costs have steadily increased due to several key factors: 1. **Supply Chain Disruptions** – The COVID-19 pandemic led to manufacturing slowdowns, shipping delays, and material shortages, driving prices up. 2. **Raw Material Costs** – The prices of essential materials like asphalt, metal, and lumber have surged due to increased demand, supply constraints, and inflation. 3. **Labor Shortages** – The construction industry has faced a skilled labor shortage, leading to higher wages and increased costs for production and installation. 4. **Severe Weather Events** – Hurricanes, wildfires, and extreme weather have increased demand for roofing materials while also disrupting production and distribution. 5. **Tariffs & Trade Policies** – Import tariffs on materials like steel and aluminum have contributed to price hikes, affecting both domestic and imported products. 6. **Energy & Transportation Costs** – Rising fuel prices and logistical expenses have impacted the cost of manufacturing and delivering roofing materials. These combined factors have led to consistent price increases, making early project scheduling a smart financial decision for homeowners and businesses. πŸ“… **Don't waitβ€”book your project today!** πŸ“© design@marasun.com πŸ“ž (410) 226-6212 Thank you for trusting MARASUN with your roofing & exterior needs! ### Ready to get your project going? ## Comments for our blog? ## Related posts [![](https://marasun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MARASUN%20Logo%20(1500%20x%201500%20px)-2.png?height=200&name=MARASUN%20Logo%20(1500%20x%201500%20px)-2.png)](https://marasun.com/marasun/roofing-warranties-all-of-your-questions-answered) ## [Roofing Warranties - All of Your Questions ANSWERED!](https://marasun.com/marasun/roofing-warranties-all-of-your-questions-answered) ![Picture of MARASUN](https://marasun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MARASUN%20LOGO%20TRANSPARENT%20(1500%20x%201500%20px)%20(1).png?width=50&name=MARASUN%20LOGO%20TRANSPARENT%20(1500%20x%201500%20px)%20(1).png) [MARASUN](https://marasun.com/marasun/author/marasun) Apr 8, 2025, 11:00:00β€―AM When it comes to investing in a new roof, most homeowners focus on materials, colors, and costs....
